Things I’d like you to tag for my sanity

-Gas masks (only one of you posts that stuff regularly and we’re cool on that now, so it shouldn’t be a deal, but for reference). *For Whovians: Stuff from the Empty Child is usually cool, except for the transformation scenes. Those are the ones that bother me most in that instance*

-Things with eyes. Anything that could be perceived, even in an artistic way, as injuring an eye, tag that shit. ‘Eye injury’ should do?

-Anything with teeth. Not, like, pictures of people smiling or anything, but pulling/removing/injuring teeth. ’Dental’ maybe? (I hate trying to come up with tags that will be inclusive of this shit)

-Related: this is one I have on idea how to word but—Whovians, you know how the Silence’s mouths have that—covering? That kind of stuff is seen occasionally in sci-fi, the stringy/filmy mouth thing and it freaks me out so bad. SOMEONE HELP ME FIND A WAY TO TAG THAT SO I CAN HIDE IT?

-Body horror, as it’s generally defined by TVTropes “Simply put, this is any form of Horror that is based primarily on the body visibly mutating and developing in out-of-control, hideous ways. Instead of a clean, smooth, shiny (and often quick) change from one form to another, as with many Transformation Sequences, it’s painful, Squickily organic, or just plain disturbing and played for all the Nausea Fuel it’s worth.”. This makes my dysphoria play up *really* badly sometimes (it’s one reason I don’t do a lot of sci-fi/fantasy despite loving the genres in theory, since they LOVE Body Horror. Let us never, ever talk about The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People to Addi again)
-Which brings me to: The Mystical Pregnancy. As a lot of these have body horror aspects, yeah.

-While we’re on that topic: anything having to do with the Alien franchise (‘alien franchise’ is the tag)

-Imprisonment, particularly the kind where someone is restrained/drugged/etc in such a way that they lose bodily autonomy and/or are forced to commit actions they wouldn’t normally (Whovians: think River and the space suit. I screamed all the way through the last few minutes of Closing Time and was rattled for quite awhile)

-ZOMBIES

-Game of Thrones: involves a lot of triggering elements for me.

-Medical procedures/images (tag: medical)

-NEEDLES.

-Stretched earlobes

-Torture (this includes BDSM scenes that could be perceived as torture play)
