#And then there’s that little tidbit #’The only magic powerful enough to break any curse’ #’KISS ME AGAIN IT’S WORKING’ #’ANY CURSE CAN BE BROKEN’ #So apparently Rumpelstiltskin embraced the idea of true love being the cure for a diseased soul #which means he realized what Belle was trying to do #what she DID #and what he could have had #with her #only after she was gone. #Because he was counting on Bae’s love to break his curse he did not expect True Love #just the love of his boy #and the fact someone else loved him freely #willingly #without expecting anything in return #even after he took everything from her #was improbable #so he sees the True Love for Snowing and what does he do? #he ensures they get the happy ending he denied himself #but more importantly the happy ending he denied Belle not once but twice #the one person he knew who deserved a happy ending more than anyone else #and what happened? #She died.
